History

The St. Joseph Villa Foundation for Charity Care was founded in 2011 to honor the legacy of the Sisters of Charity.

In May 2013, the Foundation officially changed its name to Senior Charity Care Foundation to better represent its work of providing charity care to qualified seniors.

The SCCF president, Beth Ehrhardt, graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program in 2017. This program helped the foundation develop the business plan for future growth, including an expansion of mobile services and the addition of hearing clinics.

The Senior Charity Care Foundation aims to expand its services to the entire state of Utah and grow into additional states in the next three to five years.
